Role: Support Worker
Location: Clacton, Essex
Pay Rate: up to £10.05 - 10.75 per hour
Night shifts - 10pm - 7am
About the Role:
This is our supported living service in Clacton where we will be supporting one individual with specialist behavioural support needs, learning disabilities, autism and behaviours that challenge on a 2:1 basis.
As a superhero "Support Worker" you will deliver intense support with all aspects of everyday living to encourage their independence and support them to lead the most fulfilling life possible, incorporating both therapy and social based activities. You must be resilient flexible
and composed
in your approach as this will be a challenging environment
to work in, although equally rewarding. You will understand the importance of reflective practice and be involved in de-briefs and incident analysis to ensure the best possible outcomes for the individual.
Due to the needs of the individual you will be supporting you will have previous experience in supporting people with autism and challenging behaviour. Also, desirable, but not essential is awareness of mental health and understanding of how to positively support people who may have had difficult experiences in their life.
Although this role is predominantly based in 1 service in Clacton it will also involve an extensive, specialist behaviour support training programme
, full induction into the service and the company and occasional work at our other supported living settings in Clacton area so you must be happy to travel to other local services.

We have a in-house team that ensures that all of our services have plenty of PPE at all times. All care and support is carried out following the latest Government guidance.
