A small but highly successful IT Infrastructure & Data Centre Management provider who works predominantly with multinational financial enterprises. Most of their work is in the South-East however this does extend internationally, into Europe, America, and Asia.

The company offers a wide range of services, we have regular contracted clients who we work with on a weekly basis as well as clients with big projects that can take months to complete.

Detailed below are the services we offer to clients:


  • Lifecycle Support - Equipment & Connectivity Auditing, Install, Moves & Changes, Relocation, Decommissioning & Disposal, Patching, Troubleshooting
  • Managed Data Centre Services - Data Centre Migration, Capacity Management, Rollout & Deployment
  • Infrastructure - Structured Cabling, Rack Deployment & Aisle Containment, Wireless Networking

This position is a fantastic opportunity for someone sales-orientated and self-motivated, with lots of energy and a 'go-getter' attitude.  It's important that you're an excellent listener and communicator and have good organization, administration and relationship-building skills.

The role will be working within a small sales and operations team. This is a full-time office-based role, located in Chelmsford. The hours are 09:00 – 17:00, Monday – Friday.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Provide an exceptional knowledge of JSC's services to clients
  • Being the central point of contact for all sales related activity 
  • Building and developing relationships and new service offerings with potential clients
  • Creating and issuing quotations to clients
  • Responding to clients, answering queries, following up on quotations
  • Achieve sales & market share growth in line with business plans and budgets
  • Maintain detailed and up-to-date client contact records within CRM
  • Support sales and marketing team in relevant activities
  • Researching potential business opportunities, industry trends and developments
  • Pro-active lead generation
  • Manage social media accounts
  • Purchasing of materials/issuing PO's
  • Ad-hoc admin tasks and holiday cover for operations team


Experience and skills required

  • 3+ years' experience in a relevant role
  • Background within the IT or Technical industry would be hugely advantageous
  • 5+ GCSE's A* - C – including maths and English
  • Strong skills in MS Office, Excel and Powerpoint. Our quoting tool is in Excel format, this is complex and will require you to be able to understand and operate Excel effortlessly
  • High level of literacy will be required. The role will require you to produce high level and volume of accurate technical written information
  • High level of numeracy will be required. The role will require you to work with sales figures, percentages and calculations
  • Capable and confident telephone manner
  • Able to demonstrate client relationship building experience
  • Strong skills in MS Office, Excel and Powerpoint
  • Excellent account management, P&L, general business acumen and customer management skills
  • Adaptable and natural at picking up and utilising new technologies
  • Experience using Pipeline and CRM management tools
  • Experience in using Quoting tool management
  • Results driven ethic
