The position will be based at our current Head Office in Brentwood, however CareCo are moving to a brand-new Head Office in 2022 which is currently being built! This Head Office will be based in Great Notley, Braintree. CareCo are looking for someone to join us in Brentwood now and be happy to move with us to Braintree when the time comes.
We are looking for an experienced delivery driver to deliver and install products at our customer homes. The ideal candidate must be self-motivated, be polite and professional as well as having the ability to work independently. The range of products you will install and set up includes:
- Mobility Scooters
- Powerchairs
- Rise Recliners
- Bathlifts
Home Delivery Driver duties include:
- Maintaining the cleanliness of company vehicle inside and out.
- Delivery, installation and demonstration throughout East Anglia, London and surrounding areas
- Attending call outs
- Collection and inspection of faulty products
- Filling out paperwork on tablet properly
- Some ability to fault find and solution orientation would be useful
- Recording correct work times to give to the Logistics Manager to be logged into our HR system
- To attend training courses as required
The ideal Home Delivery Driver should possess the following attributes:
- Some experience within the mobility industry on installations and maintenance would be useful but not essential
- Customer focused attitude
- Strong organizational and administrative skills
- Excellent time management skills
- Excellent communication and social skills
- Ability to work under pressure and handle more than one responsibility at the time
- Full UK current driving license
