Our client has an exciting new opportunity for Support Workers and Waking Night Support Workers to join their team in Great Leighs within a new service due to open in August 2021!This is an ideal location, as it is in a rural and green setting, yet still close to the local town.This service will be supporting the NHS Transforming Care Programme and will involve supporting vulnerable people to transition from secure/hospitalised settings into a home of their own. Candidates will be required to work within a variety of settings in support of this and therefore will need to be resilient, capable and able to see the bigger picture in terms of the part they will play in supporting people to realise their potential and also the opportunities, changes and challenges this next stage in their life will present. No experience needed as full training will be given.Location: Great Leighs, Chelmsford, CM3Support Workers: Permanent: Full time, working 42hours per week. Shifts are long days from 8am to 10pm, this is on a rota basis including weekends and Bank Holidays. Shifts working from 8am to 3pm and 3pm to 10pm may also be considered and can be discussed during interview. Every other weekend and sleep ins 10 pm to 8 am.£20,748 per annum based on working 42 hours per week.Waking Night Support Workers: Permanent: Full time, working 35 hours per week. Shifts are all nights, working 9.45pm to 7.45am, including working weekends and Bank Holidays.£9.50 per hourAdditional Information: As this location is rural, you will ideally have a driving licence and your own transport as there are no public transport links.Your new job:Our client is one of the UK's leading providers of support for people with learning disabilities, autism and associated complex needs.You will be working as part of a friendly team, supporting vulnerable adults with a range of physical, mental and learning disabilities.
