Part Time Support Worker at TLTP Medical
London Teaching Pool is currently seeking for an experienced support worker to join our care team on a part time basis to provide support and promote the independence of our clients in Colchester and Clacton on Sea The preferred support worker will be covering hours for London Teaching Pool for service users with Learning disability and Autism on the following days; Monday and Thursday (10am - 5pm ) - 14 hours (Colchester) Wednesday - 9am - 7pm ( Clacton on Sea ) - 10 hours Additional hours between those areas are also available The preferred support worker should have experience with providing support with similar clients and also ensure they will be able to engage the client with age appropriate activities, however the support worker must be consistent and be car driver, including having a good local knowledge within Colchester and surroundings , as you will drive the client to activities with the live in carer. This is a part time role for 24 hours a week and addition hours can also be added What we expect from you:To provide high standards of support to service users in the community, including assistance with, escorting, budgeting and shoppingProvide Respite to Live in CarerTo be reliable, punctual and excellent duty of carePrevious support experience is preferred.
