The post holder would be responsible for supporting adults with a learning disability who have associated mental health problems, Epilepsy and/or behaviours of concern. We wish to recruit individuals who are flexible, enthusiastic and have a positive caring attitude towards our client group. The role will be varied and will include all aspects of care from implementing care plan delivery systems to promoting choice and client's independence. Our clients are looking for someone who will listen to them, help them, make them feel safe and support them to go out in the community as part of their treatment plans. Due to the complex nature of the client group experience of working with people with learning disabilities is desirable for this post, though a full induction will be given and additional training as identified/required.
The pay rate for this locum role is between £11.16 - £12.16 per hour days dependant on experience, however this is open for negotiation for someone with years of experience.
