REED Engineering are recruiting for a number of companies who are looking for Electronics Manufacturing Engineers to join their teams.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Undertaking all aspects of the introduction of new products into manufacturing.
• Design, planning and commissioning of production line layouts/cells/equipment
• Transfer and set up of manufacturing data, including all manufacturing documentation
• Leading and documenting process verification and validation exercises
• Provide ongoing support to maintain and improve production QCD
• Design and implementation of component supply and finished product systems
• Conduct Health & Safety, COSHH and PUWER risk assessments as required
• Maintain an up-to-date knowledge relevant manufacturing processes
• Lead and participate in Continuous Improvement activities, Training, Quality investigations and Supplier selection
Your qualifications
• Relevant Engineering degree or minimum HNC/HND with relevant experience
• 2+ years working in an Engineering or Manufacturing environment
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing techniques
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings
• Computer & IT literacy, familiarity with Office software tools
